Our Family
Three Generations of Excellence
"The East Side's best kept secret. We aim to provide an authentic dining experience with traditional meals that will leave your taste buds craving more."

For over 36 years, DA'S has become a staple location in Shelby Township. People come for more than the authentic Italian cuisine — they come for the authentic Italian family atmosphere.
From Mamma's homemade meatballs to Nonna's Sunday Sauce, every recipe on our menu traces back to the family kitchen. We hand-roll the pasta. We make the sauce from scratch. We use San Marzano tomatoes, imported Italian cheeses, and the freshest seafood we can source.
Whether you're stopping in for lunch with a colleague, celebrating an anniversary, or hosting a private event in our banquet room, we're glad you're here.
From all of us at Da Francesco's — Mamma, Nonna, Domenic, Franco, and the whole kitchen — grazie. We'll see you soon.
The Legacy
Three generations, one kitchen.
An American Dream
18 year-old Francesco Belcastro came to America from the small town of San Giovanni in Fiore Calabria, Italy. With $5 to his name, he made the journey to Michigan in the hopes for a better life. Together with his son, Domenic, they took their love for cooking and passion for success and opened Da Francesco's June 1, 1990. They never would have imagined it would be what it is now. A third generation, Domenic's son Francesco, has joined the power team and looks forward to carrying out his grandfather's legacy.
